Kim Kardashian sports her recent surgically acquired cauliflower ear as she seeks to cash in on the growing MMA reality presence.
Kim Kardashian is suing Old Navy. And we agree. Any celebrity should be shielded from the threat of look alikes diminishing their hard fought and cultured image in the art world of reality television and fashion.
The lawsuit by Kim Kardashian states she “has invested substantial time, energy, finances and entrepreneurial effort in developing her considerable professional and commercial achievements and success, as well as in developing her popularity, fame, and prominence in the public eye.”
And so, she’s asking for $20 million.
Granted, the girl, Melissa Molinaro, no longer has a “part-time” job waiting tables in Hollywood as so many “full-time” actors do, and already has a firm footing in the model/actor world.

And sure, you could argue that she has more natural talent than Kardashian since she didn’t have the leverage to rely on her daddy’s name, nor a POS reality show to gain a public following, and yes, it might be ridiculous for Kim Kardashian to crush Melissa Molinaro’s career just because they have a slight resemblance.
Sure, the cynics will say Kardashian is grasping at straws with this lawsuit.
And others will say it’s simply retribution by Kim Kardashian over rumors linking Melissa Molinaro with Reggie Bush.
But if we are going to endure as a society, if we are going to ensure our continued existence of mindless entertainment, garnered in reality television and plastic surgery enhanced women of limited intellectual abilities, this image infringement cannot stand.
We need these women of talent to provide shows that both male and female, boyfriend and girlfriend, husband and wife, can both watch.
